All students at KCA are trained in the elements of art from an early age, the exploration and practice of color, line, shape, texture, space, form over the primary years. In later elementary and middle school students explore the principles of design: shading, tinting, patterning, overlapping. Student artwork is regularly displayed in our halls, exhibited at the local fair and in the community. Through the art experience, students learn about the history of visual art, and the role of a Christian in the visual arts community.
